October 31, 2020, Monrovia Liberia: The Liberian state under Weah’s presidency is at a calamitous ridge. Citizens and government officials are dying under mysterious circumstances, while the causes of these deaths are yet to be established by the government.

Just in the space of eight days in October 2020, four auditors died under very suspicious circumstances. The latest was the country’s chief auditor, Mr Emmanuel Barten Nyeswa, former Director-General of the Internal Audit Agency, who along with his team, had just completed the conduct of an audit of Covid-19 funds covering the period of February to June 2020. That audit findings uprooted graft and thievery on the part of those tasked with the responsibility of leading the fight against the scourge of the pandemic.

While the families of the four deceased auditors are demanding justice in the alleged murder of their relatives and loved ones amid the conflicting information from the government about the actual portfolios of the deceased while serving in government, the next added to the list of all those who died under scaring circumstances, is the Minister of Public Works, Mr Mobutu Vlah Nyenpan.

Mobutu Vlah Nyenpan was a dedicated public servant who love for country was unquestionably unmatched. He brought integrity, discipline, probity, honesty and nobility to public service. While serving as Senator in Sinoe county under the regime of former President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, he didn’t demonstrate incessant ambition for luxuries or material wealth, neither did he ever seek pleasure in opulent lifestyles. He served his county and country with dignity and a deep sense of patriotism. Sadly, he didn’t get reelected in 2014 not because he failed in representing his people while in the Senate, but it was simply because he came from a minority tribal group (Sapo) in his county, Sinoe. The Kru tribe that that constitutes approximately 75% of the county’s population  voted to have all the two Senators coming from their tribal group.

As a patriot, and with the same sense of deep-seated love for country and people, Min. Nyenpan took up a daunting task in the CDC’s government headed by a ‘functionally illiterate’ footballing President, George Weah. While in the government as Minister of Public Works for close to three years, he did a remarkably progressive job to pave some of the country’s bumpy roads in Monrovia and its environs. But it seems that the high degree of honesty, probity, discipline, nobility, humility, patriotism and sense of nationalism he carried in public service ultimately “called him to glory” too early under George Weah’s Liberia.

Many of the high-profiled government’s officials in the administration of George Weah who struggled for twelve years to bring the CDC to power are feeling more entitled to the government than the people who lend their support to the party in a year to victory and those who surfaced in their government as stowaways.

And few of such persons who feel more entitled to this current government and think that it is their time to enjoy the loots of state resources and to enrich themselves quickly after years of struggles in opposition, are Finance Minister, Samuel D. Tweah, Minister of State for Presidential Affairs, Nathaniel F. McGill, Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection, Mrs Whillimena Piso Saydee Tarr, Monrovia City Mayor, Jefferson Tamba Koijee, President of Liberia National Oil Company, Ms Saifuah Mai Gray, and others.

These listed officials who hold the belief that this government is their entitlement were all seen in a long meeting with the Minister of Public Works, Mobutu Vlah Nyenpan, at the Public Works Ministry, before he fell off and was rushed to JFK Medical Hospital.

The meeting which was held early morning on Thursday, September 3, 2020, from 9am to 3pm according to credible and unimpeachable sources within the hierarchy of the governing system.

Sources hinted Parrot Newspaper that the gathering was intended to discuss the road funds that came in the country from Liberia’s donor partners. Ministers Tweah, McGill, Piso Saydee Tarr and their cohorts demanded the money be transferred into an account that would be used for the CDC’s campaign in the upcoming December 8, 2020 midterm elections – something the deceased Minister resisted.

Immediately after the meeting, there was lunch served to senior officials of the government in attendance. And in such meeting, our sources from the Ministry of Public Works hinted us that Minister Nyenpan’s food was poisoned with cyanide and other dangerous substances.

Right after the meeting when Min. Tweah, McGill, Piso Saydee Tarr, Saifuah Mai Gray, Koijee and others left, Minister Nyenpan of Public Works who was battled heavily in the meeting and threatened by his cabinet colleagues, fell off and was rushed at the John F. Kennedy Medical Hospital where he went into an instant coma.

After 57 days of battling illness, Min. Nyenpan who suffered ruptured brain aneurysm after being allegedly poisoned by his colleagues, finally succumbed to the cold hands of death early morning on Thursday, October 30, 2020, at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra, Ghana.

Causes and symptoms of ruptured brain aneurysms.

A brain aneurysm is a bulge or ballooning in a blood vessel in the brain. It often looks like a berry hanging on a stem. A brain aneurysm can leak or rupture, causing bleeding into the brain (hemorrhagic stroke). Most often a ruptured brain aneurysm occurs in the space between the brain and the thin tissues covering the brain. This type of hemorrhagic stroke is called a subarachnoid haemorrhage. A ruptured aneurysm quickly becomes life-threatening and requires prompt medical treatment.

Symptoms
Ruptured aneurysm
A sudden, severe headache is the key symptom of a ruptured aneurysm. This headache is often described as the “worst headache” ever experienced.

Common signs and symptoms of a ruptured aneurysm include:

√Sudden, extremely severe headache
√Nausea and vomiting
√Stiff neck
√Blurred or double vision
√Sensitivity to light
√Seizure
√A drooping eyelid
√Loss of consciousness
√Confusion

Political pundits who are reading with critical lenses are prognosticating that more officials of government are expected to die who are being perceived as internal enemies or reactionaries within the hierarchy of the governing system.

“But we must not hasten to tell the unbridled truth, whether it hurts anyone or not, Liberia is at a dangerous precipice! Tweah and McGill are dangerous elements to the progress of Weah’s administration, and by extension, our nation-state. In their fleeting desire for material finesse, they’ll go at every length to murder patriots who they deemed internal enemies and reactionaries in their governing circle”, political pundits concluded.

And here is also what is incredibly true! Min. Mobutu Vlah Nyenpan who had progressive tidings and solid ideological inkings from his days with the United People Party of Gabriel Baccus Matthew, to the Alliance for Peace and Democracy, and onto becoming Senator for 9 years in Sinoe County, was heavily resisted when his name surfaced to head the Ministry of Public Works by Weah’s inner circle made up of heightened criminals. But through the intervention of the Vice President, Jewel Howard-Taylor, and from the NPP’s angle, thankfully, Min. Nyenpan got the appointment of President Weah in February of 2018.

However, Parrot has been told that when there ensued a riff between the Office of the Presidency and his criminal cabal who want to have a grip on power and the Vice President on another angle, Tweah and McGill asked President Weah ever since to kick Mobutu Vlah Nyenpan out of government given his alleged romantic relationship with VP Jewel Howard-Taylor.

The Dilemma Surrounding the Coincidental Illness of Min. Nyenpan and VP Taylor

It was on August 11, 2020, Liberia’s Vice President, Jewel Howard-Taylor, was reportedly flown out of the country to seek additional medical care at a specialist hospital in Accra, Ghana, after being admitted at the Aspen Medical Facility, in Sinkor, Monrovia, on Friday, August 7, 2020, due to respiratory complications.

While the Vice President was away seeking treatment in Accra, Ghana, the Ministry of information, Cultural Affairs and Tourism through its newspaper, Liberia News Agency, spewed out unfounded and maliciously conjectured lies that the Vice President has come down with the coronavirus when all covid-19 tests were done on her were proven negative. This is how evil the government is to wish sickness and death for the Vice President.

MICAT through its news agency didn’t act in a vacuum to spew out unfounded lies about the VP Taylor. However, they were instructed by Tweah and McGill to throw out gibberish and incendiary propaganda and lies about the VP.

It can be recalled in December of 2019, the Chairman of the ruling CDC, Mulbah K. Morlu, in a leaked audio recording, said George Weah is the one who continuously uses Nathaniel McGill and others to disrespect the office the Vice President.

But quite interestingly, while the VP was admitted and was undergoing treatment in Ghana, in a few days, the Minister of Public Works, Mobutu Nyenpan, fell off immediately following a meeting with George Weah’s ventriloquist puppets in Samuel Tweah, Nathaniel McGill, Saifuah Mai Gray, Piso Saydee Tarr and Jefferson Koijee and was rushed to JFK.

While at JFK where doctors managed to stabilise Nyenpan’s health conditions, President Weah asked Finance Minister, Samuel Tweah, to make available US$150,000.00 for the deceased Minister to be flown out of the country for further medical treatment. But sources within government and the late minister’s family hinted Parrot that Min. Tweah delayed the release of said amount until the sickness worsened.

Sadly, the country lost Min. Mobutu Vlah Nyenpan early yesterday morning at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra, Ghana, just a day before the Vice President reported to have landed in Liberia from a sick-bed in the city of Accra.
